Make Your Own Circle of Faith Bracelet, Design by Margot Potter for Jewel School
Beading wire comes in some lovely finishes, which is why I started exposing it in my designs back when I owned a bead store. I became obsessed with making these wire circles a couple of years ago. Fair warning, making them is addictive. They are great for wire chains just like the ones we made from paper when we were kids. Here I’ve used them as an accent on a bracelet. We also use QuickLinks™ and some pretty beads including magnesite crosses. This is a subtle and dare I say stylish way to express your faith.

How to Make the Circle of Faith Bracelet
1. To create your wire circles, cut a 3-4” silver plated wire segment. Thread a QuickLink™ on the wire. Thread a crimp bead on one end of your wire, thread the opposite wire end into the opposite side of the crimp bead. Pull both ends in opposition to create the circle size you like.
2. Use chain nose pliers to compress the bead and finish the circle. The pliers should compress the bead so it is flush and flat to the top of your circle. Use flush cutters to cut off wire.
3. Make seven of these. Slide a crimp cover over the flattened crimp bead. Use Mighty Crimp tool to secure cover over bead to conceal it. Do this for all seven circles.
4. Create 7 looped top dangles for your magnesite and cracked crystal rounds.
5. Use the 20 gauge German style wire to make looped top dangles with the orange red rounds. Cut a 1” segment of wire.
6. Use round nose pliers to bend a small loop in one end.
7. Thread bead on wire. Bend wire flush to top of bead at a 90 degree angle.
8. Cut wire to approximately ¼”. Grasp end of wire with round nose pliers and turn a larger loop. Make 7 of these.
9. Connect one of each beaded dangle to each of your wire circle embellished QuickLinks by opening the loop with chain nose pliers, sliding component into loop and securing loop closed.
10. Use jump rings to connect the 7 beaded links.
11. Attach your clasp using a jump ring.
