For the past several days JTV buyers have been working the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, the world's number one fine jewelry event. From Jay: "New huge demand for colored gemstones has ignited the Asia wholesale market. 
The Chinese has discovered exotic gemstones and they are buying at a furious pace. JTV current inventory is excellent value vs the replacement costs at the source.
Globalization has hit exotic colored gemstones. Too many dollars in Asia chasing too few exotics. Its hard to believe unless you're here seeing it. I've been coming to Asia for 32 years for exotic gems; I've never seen anything like this. " - Jay
