February 10 and 11/Sunday & Monday-- join us on Jewel School where the fabulous Fernando DaSilva will debut his own New Product, "Instant Glam", with John Bead. I happened to catch up with Fernando in Tucson this past week, where I took this photo to share with you. (Some really pretty sparkles there!)
Our second
guest artist this week, will be the innovative Julianna Hudgins, debuting her
Brand NEW Jewel-Loom (beading loom) from Beadalon! Julianna will share some of
the lovely designs that you can make, using this cool new product- just in time for Valentines Day!
February 13-- Beads, Beads, Beads!! It's the Jewel School Wednesday Bead Show--where our host will offer some great new collections of beads in many shapes, sizes and colors.
"Cougarism"-- (JSI Happenings) As we all know, life can make changes that we have no control over; to be able to show you all of our upcoming classes and progressive workshops in the best way possible, the Brand New Jewel School Institute website will not go live until "next" Friday. Jewel School in Tucson 2013-- both JTV and Jewel School were well represented at the Tucson Gemshows this year; our buyers were busy finding new products and many of our instructors were present, helping to promote Jewel School too!

Stephanie Eddy sat down with Lauren Anderson to unravel the mystery of chain maille -- or -- what happens when Viking Knit meets ChainMaille...very interesting and a LOT of fun!! (Hint: they will both be Guests on Jewel School in March!)
Oh yes--what did we make in Christie's class? Why a "Sea Serpent's Garden" of course!
