Daytime Diamonds

I recently read an article about how it was inappropriate to wear diamonds during the daytime, other than your wedding rings of course, and it got me thinking.  Why do we have this misconception about not wearing your nice jewelry during the daytime? Most people believe it's only reserved for special occasions and events but if you're like me, some of your favorite jewelry is your nicest! Of course I get not wearing it to the beach or out working in your garden but why not wear it to a Sunday brunch with your girlfriends or on date night or even to a casual weekend event?  At JTV we believe that your diamonds and any of your nice jewelry can go with you anywhere! Wear your pretty studs to work and your favorite sparkly necklace to dinner with your friends, that's why you bought it right? To wear!  So what's your opinion? What do you think about wearing your diamonds during the daytime? What about any of your other nice jewelry? A yes or a no? We would love to hear!
